The Client
Camphill Village Trust supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and other support requirements. The original project covered nine communities in England, with support across home life, work, social and cultural activities.
The Challenge
IT and communications had historically been delivered locally. This created challenges for the organisation and led to a requirement for a more strategic, central approach built on enterprise-grade infrastructure.

WAN, LAN and wireless designs were developed together to support a coordinated approach across the communities.
Implementation and migration
Fluid delivered the infrastructure and supported the move of end users into the new environment.
Central operation
The solution provided a cloud management platform, alongside support for the delivered systems and users.
The Results
The published account reports that the project met all agreed requirements and was delivered below budget.
Fluid secured a ten-year Cisco Meraki licensing model for the original project. This historical arrangement helped the Trust plan its investment; it is not a current licensing offer.
